Archivo Black from Omnibus-Type is a free heavy sans serif with broad proportions and an almost solid silhouette. Its compact spacing keeps the lettering forceful and direct.

Flat illustrations and simple geometric graphics share its blunt shapes, so the font fits event posters and bold sports graphics. Packaging and music covers gain a firm, no-nonsense identity from the dense lettering. In signage, the letters can become the sign itself, with broad forms resembling cut panels or painted shop lettering.
