Caffeine Blackout, designed by David Kerkhoff in 2010, is a free distorted decorative display font with dense, swollen lettering. Its rounded forms buckle and crowd together, as though printed with too much ink. Splashes, scratches, and ragged gaps break up the dark shapes and give the design a convincing handmade messiness.
It can turn a title into part of the artwork, particularly on punk posters, album covers, and streetwear graphics where rough texture carries the theme. The scattered ink marks also make sense for coffee packaging and music merchandise, linking those applications to the font's blotched, high-impact surface.
