Caliope Victorian, prepared by Douglas Day from lettering in Dan Solo's Victorian Display Alphabets, is a free decorative display font. Its broad capitals combine bold split serifs and tight pinched curves with dense interior ornament, including stripes, dots, teardrops, small leaflike forms, tiny hearts, and almond-shaped cuts.

It can turn a poster title or package name into an illustrated emblem, with each letter contributing pattern as well as text. The theatrical detailing suits circus event graphics. It also has a place on ornate book covers and heritage merchandise, where the repeated carved-looking motifs can echo borders, engraving, or decorative frames.
