Centaurea, created by Jean Boyault of JB Foundry, is a free decorative display font with finely drawn serif forms. Tall, slender letters carry loose contours and sharp changes in stroke width. Striped hatching appears inside selected strokes, giving the design the look of an unfinished fashion sketch.

An independent fashion label or boutique could use it for branding and packaging with an elegant, visibly handmade edge. The hatching also suits book covers and menus, where lettering becomes part of the illustration.
