Courwette is a free distorted display font with tall, skeletal capitals and sharply changing stroke widths. Ragged edges, broken-looking joints, and uneven feet give the lettering the raw finish of hand-cut paper or weathered print.

Horror posters and experimental fashion branding both suit its tense, damaged silhouette. It can also lend an abrasive theatrical note to album covers and event graphics. In those settings, the letters can become part of the distressed artwork rather than serving as neutral captions.
