Dr. Caligari Czcionka

Dr. Caligari is a free distorted display font with the nervous silhouette of cut paper or roughly carved lettering. Its tall, uneven letters lurch between narrow strokes and swollen wedges, with sharp notches and ragged edges recurring across the alphabet, and some joins pinch tightly before flaring into abrupt blade-like feet and pointed hooks. The effect is tense and theatrical.

Film posters are its clearest territory, especially for horror, expressionist drama, and offbeat stage productions. It can also shape book covers, game graphics, and music merchandise, where the crooked contours can echo stark shadows, torn collage, or angular character art.
