Enchiridion by Chyrllene K is a free medieval blackletter font with an unusually ornamental, almost carved silhouette. Broad, dark strokes curl into hooks and teardrop shapes, and narrow white cuts add striped detail inside several letters. The forms are dense but lively.
Illustrations of illuminated manuscripts, heraldic beasts, or engraved borders can echo its curling contours in book covers and fantasy game graphics.
