FFCultbats by Todd Bainbridge of Frankenfonts is a free horror display font built from narrow, spindly, uneven capitals and tattoo-like pictorial symbols. Its rough outlines give the lettering a handmade underground edge.

It can turn a band logo into an illustrated tattoo badge, and the same unruly mix of letters, stars, smoke, and skull imagery fits gig posters and album packaging. In dark comic publishing and Halloween event graphics, the symbols can move beyond the wording as spot illustrations or recurring emblems, since their skulls, stars, and curling smoke connect the type directly to macabre artwork and rough hand-drawn imagery.
