Great Splunk by Xerographer Fonts is a free comic display font with oversized heavy shapes and a deliberately unruly silhouette. Its letters swing between broad curves and abrupt wedges, with uneven widths, tight joins, and squeezed openings that make the line look drawn for a loud cartoon title.

Posters are an especially good medium for its dense, elastic lettering, which can turn a name or slogan into the main piece of artwork. It also suits arcade game graphics, novelty packaging, and youth merchandise. The warped proportions and sharp interruptions point toward slapstick animation, gross-out comedy, and other entertainment built around exaggerated action.
