Hallandale Heavy JL, designed by Jeffrey N. Levine, is a free heavy geometric sans serif with an imposing, compressed silhouette. Broad strokes and narrow inner spaces make the letters look almost architectural, like cut metal or modular signage. Rounded arches soften the otherwise square, upright construction.
Urban architecture and industrial machinery are its clearest subjects. That connection makes it useful for music posters, event branding, merchandise, and entertainment packaging, especially when the repeated arches and solid verticals are echoed in geometric illustration or built into an emblem.
