IM FELL Great Primer PRO Italic by Igino Marini is a free old-style italic serif font with the irregular bite of worn letterpress type. Its steeply slanted capitals combine broad, dark strokes with fine hairlines, long pointed serifs, slightly uneven edges, and a pronounced calligraphic sweep.
Engravings and archival illustrations share its rough, period-minded texture, making the lettering apt for historical publishing and literary book covers. It also suits theatre posters and heritage packaging, where the sweeping capitals can suggest an aged printed title rather than a contemporary logo.
