Leipzig Fraktur Heavy ExtraBold by Peter Wiegel of CAT Wolgast is a free blackletter font built in the severe, angular Fraktur tradition. Broad, dark strokes break into sharp joints, hooked curves, and pointed feet, with pronounced changes in stroke width throughout the letters. Diamond-shaped joins keep the dense silhouettes crisp and ornamental.

It is most convincing in historical publishing, where its dense texture can give chapter openings and cover lines the look of old German print. The same thorny construction suits metal merchandise and medieval event posters, and it can shape a brewery or traditional food brand around an unmistakably old-world mark.

Instead of serching for eastereggs, I createt this font within 3 days. I wrote the glyphs on a littele graphic-tablet into CorelDRAW, than I gave them a caligraphic outline. than I let Corel convert the outline to paths.
