Liquid Crystal by Peter Jensen is a free LCD display font shaped from the broken segments and clipped corners of calculator and digital clock lettering. The repeated gaps and angled joins give every character the same electronic logic, so the design reads less like ordinary type and more like a readout panel.

That makes it a natural choice for timer graphics, scoreboard titles, arcade-inspired packaging, control-panel labels, and sci-fi interface art. Short headings and numeric callouts especially benefit from its segmented rhythm, which keeps the digital reference clear without needing extra effects.
