Mantel

Mantel by Richard William Mueller is a free Western display font shaped by tall, faceted lettering and deep chamfered cuts that make each form feel carved rather than merely outlined. The repeated diamond-like notches and steep diagonal joins give the design a hard, signboard rhythm associated with old frontier titling more than generic decorative display type.

That angular texture gives short words real authority on saloon-style logos, whiskey labels, rodeo posters, event flyers, and themed packaging. Mantel also makes sense for chapter titles or game graphics where those clipped interior cuts and slab-like tops can frame the page with a distinctly frontier voice.
