Nuku Nuku

Nuku Nuku, designed by Vic Fieger in 2005, is a free Japanese display font whose broad black silhouette mixes straight-sided blocks with deep scooped curves. That push and pull gives the lettering a cut-paper, sign-painted rhythm that feels graphic and compact rather than merely decorative.

It makes sense on restaurant branding, ramen packaging, event flyers, poster titles, and shop signage where that dense silhouette can carry a strong cultural cue at a glance. The curved inner cuts keep short headlines from turning flat, which also helps on menu headers and merch graphics that need a firm, stamped presence.
