Oz's Wizard Tin Woodman is a free old-school display font with theatrical, high-contrast lettering, broad triangular forms, and sweeping hairline curves. Pointed peaks and curled feet create a storybook silhouette.
Themes of stage magic and vintage adventure make it apt for book covers, theater posters, and game packaging. Its exaggerated shapes can echo castle roofs, crooked paths, and ornamental borders, letting the lettering become part of the scenery in illustrated fantasy projects.

This font is based on the lettering in the 1900 edition of L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It includes three variations and several extras, each named after one of Dorothy’s new companions.
According to legend, Frederic W. Goudy designed the typeface but was not credited.
Although the illustration is credited to me, it is not my work. The correct credit belongs to W. W. Denslow.
