PKMN RBYGSC Regular Czcionka

PKMN RBYGSC by David Fens is a free pixel font with the broad, plainspoken forms of an early handheld game interface. Its lettering is mostly wide and evenly weighted, with generous inner openings, abrupt square turns, and a few compact lowercase shapes that keep the line from looking mechanically uniform.

The squared electronic lettering matches sprite artwork and tiled game maps, making it a natural fit for retro game graphics, fan merchandise, and arcade-themed event posters. It can also give packaging or promotional digital banners a direct 8-bit reference, linking each application through the look of a classic portable-game screen.

This font was used in the Game Boy Pokémon games Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, and Crystal.

When I could not find an actual font file while checking game sprite rips, I created one myself. It was made with FontStruct, a free font maker.
