Pretzel is a free old-school display serif with the rough look of antique poster lettering. Its broad capitals combine blunt, flared serifs with changing stroke widths and slightly buckled contours. The irregular edges look distinctly hand-cut.

Designers working on heritage food and drink brands could use it for bakery packaging, tavern signage, and festival posters, where its sturdy shapes suit a warm historical setting. It is most convincing on packaging that benefits from lettering reminiscent of old shop signs and printed labels.
