Quarterround Tile

Quarterround Tile by Harold Lohner is a free groovy tile display font with a sharp late-60s, early-70s modular feel. The letters are built from heavy quarter-circles, blocks, and straight cuts, giving the alphabet a chunky tiled rhythm where rounded corners and hard vertical breaks keep repeating.

It fits poster lettering, record-inspired packaging, retro cafe branding, title cards, and short editorial cover lines where a few big letters can carry the mood. As a free font, it also makes sense for monograms and drop caps, because those broad rounded pieces create bold silhouettes even in very brief settings.
