Reliant Beveled Czcionka

Reliant Beveled by Iza of Intellecta Design is a free calligraphic script with broad looping capitals and a fine double-line treatment. Its strokes sweep through long curves and oversized flourishes, producing an airy ornamental texture that recalls engraved sign lettering.

Designers creating romantic or theatrical work will find it suited to wedding invitations, beauty packaging, and period-inspired posters, where the elaborate outlines can become part of the decoration. It is most convincing in luxury event titles and monogrammed stationery that benefit from its very generous swashes and distinctive formal flourish.

Reliant is a free interpretation of the classic design of BernhardSchoenschrift, originally designed by Lucien Bernhard, and Liberty, designed by W.T. Sniffin for ATF in 1927, following Lucien Bernhard’s original designs.

This enhanced OpenType version includes complete Greek and Latin alphabets, as well as complete Central European, Vietnamese, Baltic, and Turkish character sets, with all diacritic marks, punctuation marks, and additional characters belonging to these ranges.

The font also includes a Cyrillic alphabet, which was corrected with assistance from Dmitry Greshnev of Green Type.

It includes an extensive set of ligatures, including stylistic alternates, contextual alternates, and discretionary ligatures, as well as swashes, tail ornaments, additional fractions, and numeral ligatures. The numeral ligatures were based on an idea by Iza W.

The font contains more than 800 glyphs, which can be accessed using software such as InDesign, Illustrator, QuarkXPress, and other applications.
