Saint by Saji Johnny Kundukulam is a free distressed brush display font built from dense, forceful capitals. The closely packed letters have blunt, uneven strokes and ragged, bristle-like edges, with small cuts and flecks that resemble hurried paint on a rough wall rather than careful lettering.
A punk concert poster is its most convincing setting, since the battered forms carry the rawness of photocopied flyers and hand-painted venue signs. The same scraped texture can give horror film graphics a tense title treatment, or lend skate merchandise and rebellious apparel branding the look of ink dragged across fabric.
