Scorchflash is a free distorted display font with ragged serif forms and the look of ink scraped across rough paper. Its uneven strokes shift from narrow scratches to dense battered patches, and several letters trail into sharp hooks or sweeping tails. No edge feels mechanically clean.

Used as a distressed mark, it suits horror film titles and metal album covers. The torn contours also fit Halloween event posters, dark fantasy game packaging, and merchandise built around decay or menace. In those settings, the lettering can become part of a scorched emblem or damaged surface, not just a line of type.
