Its broad shapes are scarred by dense horizontal scratches that resemble scraped paint or weathered signage. The damage is uneven enough to keep each letter lively.
Roadside decay and low-budget horror make its clearest territory. For motel branding, thriller posters, garage-rock album covers, and distressed packaging, the heavy silhouette provides immediate impact, and in magazine features it can turn a headline into part of the photographed, rusted, or timeworn setting rather than a clean, detached caption.
