Smelvetica by Harold Lohner is a free eroded display font with blunt, irregular letters that look stamped through splattered ink. Heavy forms buckle at the edges, and scattered chips and blotches give the lettering a messy, physical texture.
A punk label or underground music venue could use it for posters, merchandise, and album packaging built around a rough photocopied aesthetic. Those same battered shapes also suit skate graphics and horror entertainment, linking each application through their damaged, unruly surface.
