Soldier Laser Expanded by Daniel Zadorozny of Iconian Fonts is a free expanded futuristic display font with massive horizontal proportions and a tightly engineered silhouette. Its broad letters combine blunt curves with squared cuts, and narrow breaks slice through the dense strokes. The repeated interruptions give the lettering the look of segmented industrial panels.

Digital graphics are an obvious home for this design, especially game interfaces and title cards that borrow the hard surfaces and clipped geometry of fictional hardware. Science fiction posters and motorsport merchandise also fit its low, wide profile, but its most convincing role is lettering that resembles a machine label or vehicle marking.
