Tartarsauce ERC is a free distorted display font, released in 2006. The caps feel rough-hewn and slightly feral, with blocky silhouettes, pinched angles, and uneven cuts that make the letters look chopped from paper or carved in a hurry.

It fits posters, zine covers, band flyers, Halloween titles, and game title cards where a free font needs a scrappy, off-kilter voice instead of clean geometry. The blunt shapes and wobbling rhythm also work well for short headlines and monograms, because the letters stay bold while the irregular edges keep them from feeling static.
