TrixieExtra

Trixie Extra, by Erik van Blokland of LettEror, is a free eroded old-school display font with the rough, ink-bitten feel of battered typewriter letters. The forms are squat and sturdy, but their edges wobble, chip, and blob just enough to give the whole font a scrappy, lived-in voice rather than a clean revivalist finish.

It fits posters, zines, record sleeves, pulp-flavored packaging, and editorial title lines where a free font should feel a little unruly and human. Because the letters look stamped, worn, and slightly misbehaved, it also works nicely for short headlines, chapter openers, and logo-style wordmarks that want a deadpan vintage bite.
