Tweedy, designed by Eric Wiryanata of Deathrockstar, is a free 3d cartoon display font with irregular, blocky capitals and a rough hand-drawn edge. Every letter has a hand-cut wobble and visibly changing stroke widths.
It is strongest on children's event posters, where the uneven forms can set an upbeat, mischievous theme. The same loose construction also suits comic publishing, game graphics, and playful merchandise with an illustrated approach. Repeated offset shadows and crooked contours let the lettering become part of a doodled scene rather than feeling like ordinary typeset copy in children's entertainment.
