Windy Wood by Roland Huse is a free old-school decorative display font with tall, roughly cut letters and uneven, sharply changing stroke widths. Its deeply chipped edges make the alphabet look hand-carved.
It can turn a title into a weathered tavern sign, which suits folk events, rustic food packaging, theatrical posters, and historical entertainment graphics. The irregular contours also echo woodcut illustration and distressed printed textures, letting the lettering take part in the artwork rather than sitting apart from it.
